the long ball yesterday, as the

The Royals collected twelve
hits, including two home runs,
off starting and losing pitcher
Dave Roberts and relief pitcher
Fernando Arroyo. Detroit man-

But the Tigers came right
back in their half of the first,
scoring two runs on a walk to
leadoff man Ron LeFlore, a
double by Tito Fuentes, and a
single by designated hitter
Rusty Staub.
