As in the picture spread above, at the cen-
ter of the University's scheme of operations
sits President Robben Fleming. The Uni-
versity's chief problem solver, Fleming ulti-
mately receives criticism from all sides.
Surrounding Fleming are his closest asso-
ciates, from both above and below him in the
hierarchy. The Regents-the governing board
of the University-and the vice presidents, as
well as the faculty, are included irf this power
