JOHN TODD, director of the new Al-
chemy Institute, will be the final
speaker for the Future Worlds Lec-
ture Series, this Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
in Hill Auditorium. Todd and other
members of the Institute were pio-
neers in developing wind and solar
energy systems, and are currently
developing "ecologically wise" meth-
ods of housing, agriculture, aqua-
culture and manufacturing. Todd is
also noted for his work in oceanog-
raphy, psychology, and medicine. His
discoveries of navigation and com-
munication mechanisms in fish won
him the University of Michigan's
Rackham fellowship. The lecture will
be free and an informal question and
answer period will follow in the
Michigan League. 48F09
