SGC elections set
for preregistration

IN, OTHER ACTION Thursday
night, SGC passed a motion to en-
dorse a resolution demanding that
the U.S. Congress implement the
Paris Peace Agreement of 1973 by
passing legislation to prohibit fur-
ther use of U.S. military advisors
and equipment in Vietnam.
The same proposal was with-
drawn by its maker, Marcia Fish-
man, at last week's meeting be-
cause amendments that SGC at-
tached to the motion "were not
pertinent to the gist of the work."
Upon presenting the motion this
week, Fishman asked the council
to abstain from changing the reso-
lution. She added that if council
wanted to add something, it should
pass other resolutions.-
During debate on the resolution,
Hoffman, who amended the motion
last week, announced he would
amend it as before, but council
blocked his move by voting to not
consider his proposal.

Trade one tough summer
for two great years.

The Army ROTC Basic Camp. It's tough
because you'll be making up for the entire first two
years of the Army ROTC Four-Year Program. Two
years in only six weeks.
During this time, while we're toughening
up your body a little, we'll be even tougher on your
mind. By asking you to complete a concentrated
course of study covering all the topics you missed.
But when you return to college in the fall,
you can look forward to two pretty great years.

You'll be earning an extra $100 a month, up to ten
months a year. And you'll also be earning an
officer's commission while you're earning your
college degree.
If you're transferring from junior college,
or for some other reason you couldn't take the first
two years of ROTC, look into the Army ROTC
Two-Year Program.
