However several Human Rights Party officials said yesterday they were told by a source in the City' Clerk's office a week ago that the Clerk's office was expecting the problem. He suspected beforehand that a signficant number of regis- tration information might be miss- ing, but never bothered to say any- thing about it publicly." HRP official Lisa North was re- sponsible for transporting the reg- istration lists from the Union to the City Clerk's office until the last week of the, January Union drive.
