Bletht Brunton1 FIRST WARD5i Whfo- do you trust?. Human Rights Party candidate supports Rent Control. Her Re- publican opponent opposes it. The Democratic candidate does both at the same time. Many voters are confused about the position of the Democrat. Indeed they should be. When she campaigned in student areas the De- mocrat claimed she was in favor of Rent Control. Since then the Ann Arbor News has twice quoted her as opposing the Rent Control charter oamendment. Obviously she has tailored her position to please differ- ent audiences. There's n~o doubt where Beth Brunton stands on Rent Control. She spent hours this fall getting signatures to put the issue on the bal- lot. Throughout this campaign Beth has taken consistent positions on Rent Control, community control of police, city spending priorities, I nd tax reform. Does anyone know where her Democratic opponent stands? i
