With nearly $2,000 waiting to'
be disbursed,Student Govern-
ment Council President Reddix
Allen last night again refused
to thaw the freeze he has put
on all SGC funds.
Also at the meeting Council
voted to remove the body's Co-
ordinating Vice President, Da-
vid Faye, and Administrative
Vice President Jim Glickman,
and allocated $300 dollars to the
Fifth Estate.
ALLEN took office last Jan-
uary and one of his first moves
was to freeze all SGC funds. He
cited that he needed time to
become convinced of the sol-
vency of SGC's finances.
Now, almost two months lat-!
er, Allen still refuses to release
the impounded funds.
When asked last night when
he would research the Council's
financial state he replied, "As
soon as I am physically able
to do so."
The money that has been al-
located by Council but remains
to be paid includes several
bills, and requests by Rackham'
Student Government, the Gay
Academic Union, the Indochina
Peace Campaign, the Pilot Pro-
gram, and the Fifth Estate.

SZEP said that he reads sev-
eral newspapers a day in order
to come up with ideas for his
cartoons. He also mentioned
that he is no longer able to draw
ideas solely from the front page,
