Not everyone can be Campy
Russell, Paul Seymour or Vic
Amaya, and there is a place for
those of us who are less moti-
vated and gifted. The Univer-
sity offers a fine, extensive se-
lection of intramural sports,
with opportunities for everyone
wishing to participate, at any
level of competition.
The available facilities a r e
vast. In addition to the I.M.
main gym, in which numerous
activities such as boxing, wrest-
ling, basketball, all racquet
sports and gymnastics are avail-
able, and Waterman gym in
which basketball, an indoor
track, and several other facil-
ities, this year, the Coliseum
will be ready for extensive use.
A tartan surface provides a
change from those of the other
buildings, and the Sports Clubs,
and Intramural Department will
share its benefits.
For those who are interested
in swimming, there are three
excellent pools. The Margaret
Bell Pool offers free time swims
throughout the year. The Intrai-
mural Sports Building Pool has
the most extensive open schad-
ule available to University per-
sonnel. Matt Mann' Pool, in
which the varsity swim team
practices and holds their meets,
is used for scheduled intramural
competition.
Also available for student and
intramural use are several play-
ing fields: Wines, Ferry, Pal-
mer, Fuller, and Murfin. A vast
array of tennis courts are avail-
able behind the I.M. Building

Several other services are ex-
tended to University people, in-
cluding lockers, equipment
check-out and rental, a m o n g
others.
To find out any additional in-
formation, anyone may call or
drop in. New sports or activities
can be added if sufficient inter-
est exists. For information call
the I.M. Building at 763-1313, th
Barbour-Waterman I.M. office
at 763-3233, or Margaret B e 11l

d,

All banks are not alike. When you get to know National Bank and
Trust, you can see that the difference here is a tradition of per-
sonal service and attention to detail.
Of course, you'll find really practical financial services, too.
For example, checking accounts-probably one of the first
things you need-are available two ways: Free Checking with a
minimum balance, or Budget Checking. And there's more, like
NBT Master Charge, money orders and travelers checks, sav-
ings accounts and everything else you'd expect from a full
service bank.
But the nicest difference at NBT is people. People who really
know what they're doing-and who also take a personal interest
in you. See foryourself by making NBT your bank in ANN ARBOR.
