CAP is one of the few self-supporting
sheltered workshops owned and
operated by and for the handicapped.
CAP was originally started in 1960
by Mrs. Venita R. Dickerson with
initial capital of only $195.00. Mrs.
Dickerson who is also physically
handicapped has fostered the growth
of CAP into a productive organ-
ization which today serves many
Michigan corporations competitively,
efficiently and economically, provid-
ing work and a means of personal
