In snapping a three-game losing streak of their own and tagging Detroit with its third loss in suc- cession, the Warriors broke loose from a 93-all tie after three quar- ters. Ron Williams topped the War- riors with a career high of 34 points, while Nate Thurmond added 30, Jerry Lucas 24 and Jeff Mullins 23. Bing had 35 for De- troit. Yankees may leave Stadium; Former Cardinal sues team By The Associated Press NEW YORK-The New York Yankees may move out of Yankee Stadium unless drastic changes are made, Mike Burke, Yankee presi- dent, indicated yesterday. "Our present lease runs until 1981," Burke said, "but honestly I don't know if the Yankees ,will be there until 1981. We have a prob- lem to improve the stadium to satisfy the fans. We have to find some way to do that over the next several years or find another place to K play." Burke said the Yanks are not thinking about moving to another city out of the New York area. * * * 0 ST. LOUIS-Ken Gray, former offensive guard for the St. Louis football Cardinals, filed a suit yesterday asking $1.79 million in dam- ages from the club for alleged breach of contract and administration of stimulant drugs without his consent. The suit was filed in Circuit Court. Gray played with the Cardinals for 12 years before his release last August. He then played with the Houston Oilers. DETROIT-University of Detroit officials reported basketball coach Jim Harding was at home and in good condition yesterday after going to a hospital Tuesday when he complained of chest pains. Athletic Director Bob Calihan said he did know the official diag- nosis, but that it was known the 42-year-old Harding did not suffer a heart attack. Another U-D official said Harding may have suffered an upset stomach.
