NASSAU
A place in the sun
When the plane lifts off the runway tonight the grey winter,
and its routine will be left far behind-at least for this one week.
The plane is headed south, to the tropics, where it is warm.
' In Nassau, life moves slowly along ... revelling on the sun-
splashed beaches ... sailing across the glassy waters ... lazily
sipping rum and cokes.. . rummaging through the marketplace
where the natives hustle their strawbaskets, woodcarvings and
conch shells. And finally, the sun disappears on the horizon in the
blaze of fiery color "until the day dawn' and de shadows flee
away..."
