Lewison also objects Lo the type of person he forsees the Regents will choose. "The problem is that I am a humanist and they want a manager-and they're going to get their money manager,"he said. A GRADUATE student in journalism, Lewison also condemned the "disorganization" of Rackham student government, the tangled University bureaucracy, and campus politics, which he called "pointle rn" "I was very sorry to learn he was leaving the committee," said student committee Chairman Jeff Supowit.. "I thought he had a lot to offer, beingin GEO (Graduate Employees Organization) and a grad student." But Supowit added that Lewison "has become very cynical about the Univer- sity as a consequences of the presiden- tial selection process." "HE JUST HAD an attitude which he felt would be pretty counter-productive on a University committee," Supowit said. Supowit said he would ask Rackham student government to appoint a replacement for Lewison, but would meet with nine members until a suc- cessor is named.
