MICHIGAN UNION
SEVENTYFIETH'
ANNIVERSARY
The first home of the Michigan Union was the former home of
the late Judge Cooley. It served as the club house from 1906
to 1917, when the present building was built on the same site.
The present building has had 3 additions, in 1936, 1937 and
1954.
Six segments of the Cooley house may be seen imbedded in
the concrete of the front stair landing.
