EXHIBITION PROGRAM
Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Karate, Hapki Do, Aiki Do,
Judo, Ken Do, Yoga, Charyok, Bong

Dear Friends:
As director of the International Oriental Martial Arts demonstration slated for September 17 at 5
p.m. at the University of Michigan's Crister Arena, I would like to say a few words about this unique
event.
We believe this is the first time in this area that top practitioners of various disciplines of Oriental
martial arts have been invited to the same stage to demonstrate their expertise in an organized
program. The repetoire includes Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kung Fu, Hap Ki Do, Aikido, Kendo, Judo,
Yoga, and Charyok, all of different origins and with different styles. You will see the extraordinary
techniques and skills of top masters in each field from Korea, China, Japan, and the United States.
Martial arts are much more than a physical fitness or self-defense techniques. They require gruel-
ling training, total concentration, mental discipline, and overall understanding of human nature.
You will be simply amazed and mystified to discover how your hands and feet could be turned
into a powerful weapon for your protection, how fast they can move, how high you can jump, and
how forceful your inner energy can be when properly mobilized.
It will be both rare entertainment and valuable education for your entire family.
Hoping to see you all at Crisler Arena, I send you my best wishes and sincere thanks for your
attention.
Yours, Truly,
EAGLE PARKS
Director
