Branstrom prizes have been awarded to 246 freshmen," Asst. Dean Ivan Park- er, Secretary of Committee on Uni- versity Scholarships, announced. This award goes to freshmen students whose academic per- formance during their first semes- ter on campus places them in the top seven per cent of their class. Students not -now on campus or were lacking a three point are not eligible. A choice of nineteen books is offered to winners.
