Larcom, Ann Arbor's city ad- ministrator; and Fred S. Smith, publisher of the Evart (Mich.) Review and Marion (Mich.) Press. Booth is teaching a course in principles of advertising writing this semester. He was formerly employed by a Chicago advertising firm and the Chicago Herald and Examiner. Downing, who has worked for the Times since 1941, is lecturing on the evaluation and display of news. He received his degree in jour- nalism from Northwestern Uni- versity and has held various posi- tions on newspapers in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. Larcom, who has been Ann Ar- Smith, who received his bache- lor's degree in journalism from the University, is lecturing on the community newspaper.
