There's everything from folk songs to spir- ituals, from the sounds of the big orchestras to "Sing Along with Mitch.", Robert Goulet has come out with "This Christmas I Spend with You," a delightful collection of old favorites and popular tunes backed by Goulet's splendid tal- ents. Andy Williams is offering# his "Christmas Album," done in } the relaxed and convincing man- ner that has made Andy a favorite on national TV. Johnny Mathis is presenting "Merry Christmas," a group of Yuletide ballads and spirituals in stereo and high fidelity. Ray Coniff and his singers have composed "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," a gathering of favor- ites including "The Little Drum- mer Boy," "0,Holy Night," and other Christmas songs and car- ols. Folk Tunes For folk song fans, the New Christy Minstrels have come up with "Merry Christmas," a col- lection of favorites, while the Limeliters have made an album for the Christmas season entitled "Fourteen Folk Songs," including "The Midnight Special" and "John Riley." In the realm of the big orches- tras, Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic Orches- tra, accompanied by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, have produced a classicentitled "The Joy of Christmas," an album-full of timeless Christmas carols in ster- eo and high fidelity. Orchestral Groups The Columbia Chamber Orches- tra is offering "Music for a Merry Christmas," featuring organist E. Power Biggs. The Philadelphia Or- chestra is coming out with "The Glorious Sound of Christmas," in- cluding "Ave Maria," "0 Little Town of Bethlehem," "0 Come All Ye Faithful," featuring the Tem- ple University Concert Choir.
