The Undergraduate Library is
fortunate to have a fine audio sec-
tion, which is open to all members
of the University.
The collection contains some 3,-
500 records of which the majority
are long playing, and about 500:
tapes of items not available on
ercords, such as lectures, Shakes-
peareani plays, and language pro-
grams.
Since the library is non-circu-
latfng, they have provided eicel-
lent faciilties with 72 turntables,
and they are able to accommodate
approximately 150 people.
It is their policy to try to have

serious music from the ancients to
the modern with representative
pieces through the centuries.
Though the emphasis of the col-
lection is on the classical they also
have a limited number of the oth-
er types of music, such as folk

ing and trying to keep up with the
