THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20' General Notices Doctoral Candidates who expect to re- ceive degrees in Feb., 1963, must have at least three bound copies (the orig- inal in a "spring binder") of their dissertation in the office of the Grad- uate School by Fri., Dec. 7. The report of the doctoral committee on the final oral examination must be filed with the Recorder of the Grad School together with two copies of the thesis, which is ready in all respects for publication not later than Mon., Jan. 7. Application Forms for National Sci- ence Foundation Cooperative Graduate Fellowships and Summer Fellowships for Graduate Teaching Assistants are now available in the Fellowship Office, Room 110, Rackham Bldg. These are awarded by the Nat. St. Foundation for grad- uate study in the Physical, Biological and Engineering Sciences, and in some areas of Medical and Social Sciences, and are for study in the academic year 1963-64 and Summer Session of 1963. Students are advised to consult with their advisors or departmental chairmen before making application, to be cer- tain that they meet the requirements and minimum academic standards for N.S.F. Fellowship programs. Applications for Fulbright Awards for Graduate Study during the 1963-64 aca- demic year are now available.
