By The Associated Press WASHINGTON -Quarterbacks John Unitas and Gary Cuozzo ig- nited an explosive offensive at- tack and a defense last night as the Baltimore Colts slaughtered the Washington Redskins 35-0 in a National Football League exhibi- tion. The Colts scored with ease as their defensive unit kept Washing- ton quarterbacks Sonny Jurgensen and Dick Shiner bottled up in their own backfield. A sellout crowd of 45,805, in- cluding President Johnson, watch- ed Baltimore post its eighth straight pre-season victory over the Redskins since 1959 and ruin the professional coaching debut of Otto Graham. No Knee Trouble Unitas showed no ill effects from a knee injury suffered late last season. He threw touchdown passes of four yards to Al Sny- der and nine yards to Jimmy Orr in the first quarter.' Orr's score was set up when Washington's Bill Hunter fumbled the kickoff after the Snyder touchdown. It was recovered by Gerald Allen on the Redskin six. The Colts' third touchdown ear- ly in the second quarter also was set up by a fumble. Fullback George Hugley lost the ball on the Washington 43 and it was re- covered by Ordell Braase. Seven plays later, including four com- pleted passes by Unitas, Tony Lor- ick carried it in from the one.
