GYMNASTICS AT WATERMAN-Three times each year, Waterman gymnasium puts aside its arch-
eary targets and barbells and makes room for the athletic capers of registering students. The fall
process is always the most hectic with 3,000 freshmen passing through the screener exits and scurry-
ing around registration workers for the first time. Once inside the main gym, the student faces the

Battle for Good Hours against the forces of the Closed Section. The one above demonstrates the lack
of writing space as he uses the floor to map out new strategy. His hectic experience does not end at
the exit, however, as droves of student organizations appeal for, his energies and dollars. Here the
Young Americans for Freedom seek to enlist support for their activities.
