The Student Shopper
Without a doubt, the most active shopper in Ann Arbor is among the 25,000 always-on-the-go
students attending the University of Michigan this year. Before, between, and after classes, the
student shopper visits the stores of Ann Arbor on a year around shopping spree. He is in the
market for all types of services and will increase sales volume no matter what the business
may be. The only advertising medium that reaches the student shopper and the well over 25,000
people in the university community is The Michigan Daily. It is the only newspaper, radio, or
television station that six days a week reaches each men's and women's dormitory, each frater-
nity and sorority house, and thousands of readers, both students and faculty, in private homes
