The University of Michigan Club
of Washington, D.C. intends to
stage a gala affair, on the after-
noon of Oct. 14.
Although the club will not be
able to attend the University-MSU
football game in person, they will
be avid fans via a television set to
be placed in the United States{
Senate Caucus Room,.
Spiritually cheering on "their"
teani, they will munch pretzels
and sip beer as the gale proceeds
to a (hopefully, victorious) cli-

max. The club, in the spirit of
brotherhood, has invited the Mich-
igan State University District Club
to partake of the festivities.
Although expecting a grand
turnout for this big event, they
have not planned anything special
if the University should win the
game.
At the group's first function ap-
proximately 135 University men
and women attended a smorgas-
bord and cocktail party
