Last week Coach Al Renfrew's squad traveled to Minnesota for a pair of two-game series. The Wol- verines dumped Minnesota-Duluth in both games, 8-4 and 7-2. Michi- gan extended its win streak to three with a 5-1 victory over Min- nesota last Friday night before losing the second game, 6-5. The split with Minnesota gives Michigan a 1-1 record in the Western Collegiate Hockey Asso- ciation. The next WOHA contests are January 24-25 against Michi- gan Tech. Michigan's first line of 'Captain Gordie Wilkie, Gary Butler, and Jack Cole has accounted for 26 goals, only two less than the total output of the Wolverine oppon- ents. Butler leads the team with 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points. Wilkie is second in the' scoring race and Cole is tied for third.
