THE MICHIGAN DAILY DAILY OFFICIAL BULLETIN Y'll I_ Health Service Director Emeri- tus Warren E. Forsythe died in a Eugene, .Ore., hospital from pneu- monia complicated by a stroke last Friday. Survivors are his wife, Deatta Brodye and his son, Prof. George E. Brodye of the Stanford Uni- Versity mathematics department. Prof. Forsythe served as a staff physician in the University Health Service from 1913'until 1915. He was director. from 1917 until his retirement in 1955. He was also a professor of hy- giene and public health from 1921 until he retired. Prof. Forsythe was author of, numerous articles and pamphlets' on student health work. Prof. Forsythe was a member of medical societies Delta Omega, Phi Kappa Phi, Delta Phi, Phi Chi and Phi Delta Kappa. He was president of the Amer- ican Student Health Association, now the American College Health Association, from 1930-31.
