MUSKET'S tradition 'of professional qual-
ity and the finest in musical theater enter-
tainment reaches back to the turn of the
century. Originally formed as the all-male
Michigan Union Opera, MUSKET now is na-
tionally acclaimed as one of the finest groups
of its type ever to perform. MUSKET has
brought' to the campus, in recent years,
award winning original musicals as well as
productions of WONDERFUL TOWN, THE
BOYFRIEND, and last year's exciting WEST
SIDE STORY.
This year MUSKET hopes to expand to
more than one major show and also plans
to tour with an original student musical for
the 150th Anniversary of the school. MUS-
KET offers opportunity to all classes and
schools making it unique as a' campus-wide
activity. Freshmen are welcomed and "en-
couraged to join, there are places for every-
one, on and off the stage. We hope to see
you at the mass meeting next September.
