This year's theatrical theme will depicts such numbers as "The Sound of Music," Macbeth's three. witches, the hilarious Keystone Cops, and "The Happening." A duet by Roz Juve and Sue Ward, complete with golden shields and martial music is entitled "Roman Soldiers." A solo by Penny O'Neal will por- tray the three stages of "Iphelia." Another solo by Sandy Legan is taken from the show "Sweet Char- ity." A floating pattern number called "Stained Glass Windows" uses early Christian miracle plays as a motif. The patterns form colorfl'l shapes and designs as seen in the church windows. Practice for the show begins in the fall with each member of the Michifish Club perfecting her in- dividual skills. By second semester, the theme and numbers for the .swim Show have been chosen andt the club works as a team to com- bine the individual skills into a group production. This will be the last Michifish show for Miss Patricia Daugert, the club sponsor. She leaves the Physical Education department after working with the Michifish show for six years. After the water show is over, the club will be participating in two competitive' meets. The In- ternational Academy of Acquatic Arts, in Decalb, Illinois, will be the rite for state-wide competition from the midwest. This year the entire Michifish club will compete in hopes of receiving an award for excellence for the finals of the water show. In previous competion, the club has outshined other clubs with its large team numbers. The second competition is the Intercollegiate Competition held at Western Michigan University. Last year the duet and team num- bers defeated over twenty other colleges from the midwest area. The numbers that are presented in competition are taken from the water show and are chosen by Miss Daugert on the basis of dif- ficulty of the number, synchron- ization, execution and style. Tickets may be purchased at the door tonight and tomorrow, or at te pool during the day. "A superb, gripping film,... tells a strong suspense story!" -INGENUE Magazine "VIVID AND IMAGINATIVE...
