Off-Campus housing is pre-
sently available to the following
under-graduate students, if they
have not prior housing commit-
ment :
Men beyond the freshman level.
Women beyond the sophomore
level and/or 21 years of age.
a) Women under 21 must ob-
tain written parental consent to
live off-campus.
b) Junior women must obtain
parental consent if they are un-
der 21 and, in addition, live in
University-endorsed housing, i.e.,
the facilities must be completed
and certified by the City as meet-
ing health and safety standards
and listed by the Off-Campus
Housing Bureau. All junior wo-
men file with the Off-Campus
Housing Bureau the address of
their apartment, or room, together
with the name of the owner or
manager.
Students may move off-campus
only if they have no prior com-
mitment in any University-owned
or -associated housing unit.
Housing contracts with resi-
dence halls, fraternities, sororities,
the Inter-Cooperative Council, as-
sociated Internation houses, and
all other University-associated
units are for the academic year.
Such contracts are honored by
the University and are not can-
celled for release to other housing.
Undergraduate women who be-
come eligible during the fall ses-
sion may not cancel accommoda-
tions in any supervised housing
unit to change living accommod-
ations in January.
Students in residence halls in-
dicate their intention to move off-
campus when housing contracts
are renewable in the early spring.
At that time they return a can-

cellation slip to the head of their
residence. Undergraduate women
under 21 years of age obtain from
their house director an off-cam-
pus housing approvalform which
they attach, completed, to the
cancellation slip. This form re-
quires the signature of the stu-
dent's parents.
Undergraduate women students
eligible for off-campus housing
who are also active members of
women's fraternities must make
application according to their
house policy and in all cases must
complete their plans before Rush-
ing ends. Affiliated women send
their parents' letters of approval
directly to Off-Campus Housing
Bureau, Student Activities Build-
ing.
