Schembechler

On beating the Buckeyes

You've gotta - give Bo Schem-I
bechler credit.
He certainly knows how to eval-
uate a football team.
Not only can he familiarize him-'
self with an alien team well
enough in eight months to lead
them to an eight and two confer-
ence-winning record, but he can
successfully read the toughest op-
position in the country as proven
in Saturday's upset of Ohio State,
24-12.
And through it all he remains1
business-like, level-headed, accu-
rate-and as objective as an emo-
tionally attached coach can be.
Reviewing the season and its
dramatic climax, Schembechler
remarked, "We had a great sea-
son. But we weren't supposed to ber
that good."A
He went on to explain the lossf

people will refer to me as what's
