ter Jack Harvey took first with a
toss of 57 feet 5 inches as he
and two other Wolverine trackmen
participated in the Ohio Track
and Field Championships over the
weekend.
Alex McDonald took a strong
second in the 880yard run with a
1:51.8 clocking. Tom Kearney was
third in the mile at 4:12.5 and
took fourth in the 440-yard run
at :52.2.
Harvey, highjumper Clarence
Martin and discus thrower Bob
Thomas will compete in the United
States Track and Field Federation
Championship in Albuquerque,
New Mexico this weekend and
then will be joined by Kearney
for the NCAA Outdoor Champion-
ships in Provo, Utah June 15-17.
