Downtown Ann Arbor HONOLULU-Michigan's base- ball squad scored its second straight victory over a service team here Wednesday evening as it downed the Hickam Flyers of Hickam Air Force Base, 8-5. Pitcher Dave Roebuck notched the victory as he gave up but six hits. He was tagged for a two- run homer by Cliff Hughes in the third inning, and allowed two more in the sixth and a final run in the eighth. Michigan jumped into an early lead, scoring all eight runs in the first .five inings. Dick Honig, who tripled in the first, scored on a single by Ron Tate. The second run came as Dave Camp- bell homered in the next inning. After single runs in the third and fourth innings, Michigan iced the game with a four-run burst in the fifth, featured by Joe Merullo's double and Harvey Chapman's single, both driving in two runs. Michigan will play seven more games with service teams before returning from Hawaii. Their rec- ord at present is 36-15 for the season.
