The approved plan will allow Huron-Pioneer high school stu- dents "to write and/or publish materials and to distribute them on the school premises" after they have signed six Articles of Agree- ment specified in the amendment The articles ban any "deliberate misquotations, malicious ridicu ,or obscenity and limit the distri- bution of any publication to before or after school hours in the com- mons or in study halls. It also stipulates that the au- thor must sign his material by his legal name and that the signer i in no way released from liabilit3 under all existing copyright an pornography legislation. The proposal also creates a committee of five students to b selected by the student body a large and five faculty members t be' elected by the entire hg school faculty. The committee will accept an authorize signed Articles of Agree ment and will act on any com plaints by students, teachers o administrators to d e t e r m i ne whether a violation of the article has occurred. The committee will be empow ered to recommend to the school' principal the suspension of an student found in flagrant violatio of the articles.
