The Hurryin' Hoosiers hurried their way from a most dismal 1957-58 pre - conference showing (one victory, six losses) to edge' out Michigan State for the title and a berth in the NCAA tourna- ment. But the loss of Archie Dees, everybody's All-American, plus all but one starter, Bob Wilkinson, makes Indiana a definite outsider! in the league title-chase that be- gins next month.
