Led by Dexter Thede, Michigan scored 72 points to best Notre Dame and University of Detroit. Host Purdue came in fourth fol- lowed by Ohio State and Indiana. Otto Scherer of Michigan led the individual scoring of the re- gatta with 38 points. Crewing for skippers Thede and Scherer were Linda Quaggle andF Fred Rotz. The only two Wolverines who were injured in the Minnesota vic- tory were completely recovered by the game's end. Halfback Darrell Harper, the running star of the game, had an ankle cramp during the fourth quarter, and sat out the rest of the game. He is com- pletely recovered.I Quarterback Bob Ptacek, whose ankle injury from the Northwest- ern game began to bother him in the fourth quarter last Saturday, is also recovered.
