Basketball Team Seeks Pivotman, New Floor

Outside Shot
Donley, who has great poten-,
tial, is possessed with a fine out-
side shot. If need be the sopho-

to alleviate Perigo's offensive cen-
ter problems are 6'4"' Cass Tech
all-stater Steve Jordan. Although
his main strength is at forward
he also has the potential to do a,
good job at center.
Arlen Parker, 6'3", can also play
either forward or center. "His lack
of speed is his greatest weakness,"
according to Perigo,
Top!Forwards
As far as the forward slots are
concerned, veterans Burton and
George Lee along with the pre-
viously mentioned sophomores,:
make the teani strong at these
spots.
Last year Lee had a poor sea-
son for a player of his ability.

Perigo said, "He has as much po-
tential as any player in the Con-
ference. I believe that the switch
from guard to forward may have
hindered him. With a year of ex-
perience under his belt at forward
he should be able to regain the
brilliancy he displayed in his
sophomore year."
Strong Guards
Guards are another strong
point of the team, with the return
of Captain Jack Lewis and junrior
Terry Miller.
Perigo says of Lewis, "I hope
he'll pick up a bit more speed,
He's a good team man but he
should be abla to hustle a little
bit more. Maybe the captaincy
will help him tc reach his peak."
Perigo feels that the year of ex-
perience gained by Miller last
year should help him settle down
and be a stronger, player. "This
pair will get strong competition
from Dale Kingsbury, a 6' Junior,
and five sophomores.
