Brown allowed six hits in post- ing his seventh victory against five defeats. He helped Baltimore to its fourth straight win and sixth place in the American League, a half game ahead of idle Kansas City. Lacking a suitable pass offense or defense, the Lions were shell, shocked by evasive Bobby Mitchell, touted to be too small for NFL play, and speedster Leroy Bolden. Mitchell, who scored twice for: Paul Brown's company, covered 156 yards in his two scoring runs.- Bolden galloped 52 yards before being stopped seven yards short of the line.
