Late in the practice, Walker, number one candidate for the vacant fullback slot and the only returning letterman at the posi- tion, sustained an injury to his right knee. Fouts is recently arrived from Bowling Green University where he held a similar position. Besides a predominantly new coaching staff, the Wolverines will alsohave a new offense this sea- son. Mastering Time Short The mastering of this new of- fensive system in the short span of 20 days will be among ~ the major problems facing the Wolver- ines during spring practice.
