UP) -- Apollo 7 astronauts yesterday dis- cussed their 11-day space mission with the next two Apollo crews, in- clu'ding three men who may circle the moon on Christmas Day. During the morning they gath- ered with more than 20 other as- tronauts for an informal c h~a t about the Apollo spacecraft that Schirra described as, a "magni- ficent.,flying machine." Dr. Charles Berry, chief of flight, medical operations, report- ed the astronauts in good condi - tion now' that they've rested up from their long flight. He report- ed they had experienced the same cardiovascular deconditioning that otherastronauts sid on lengthy .missions. He described the condition as a "Lazy heart". The astronauts are not able to exercise as readily as before the flight. He said t h I s would vanish within a few days.
