National Teacher Examinations: Ap- plications: Application blanks are available in Room 3014 Rackham Bldg. for the National Teacher Examinations. The next administration of the test will be on Sat., April 6, and applic'- tions are due in Princeton, New Jer- sey by March 14. April Teacher's Certificate Candidates: All of the requirements for the teach- er's certificate must be completed by March 15th. These requirements in- clude the teacher's oath, the health statement, the social security num- ber and the Bureau of Appointments material. The, oath should be taken as soon as possible in room 2000 University High School. The office is open from 8-12 and 1-5, Monday through Friday. The Department of Linguistics will be offering the French and German languarge examinations for the MA for students in that department on March 21 and 22. Please sign up in the Linguistics Department Office (218 Gunn Building or phone 764-0353) and arrange a time as quickly as pos- sible. y School of Music Honors Program: Applications are now being received for the fall term, 1968. Forms are avail- able in the School of Music Records Office. Deadline for receipt of appli- cations and supporting statements by the Honors Council (Prof. Holz, act- ing chairman) is Fri., March 22. The Summer Program of Graduate Student Research Grant is now open for competition. In preparing the application, the student should present a clear state- ment concering the nature of his re- search problems and the estimated cost of the specific items of expen- diture.
