mei Session staff. Their prompt return will be greatly appreciated.

the Summer Session Faculty wvho fill out the request cards.

Wihthe discovery recently ofa
secondI prehistoric elephant tusk
about eight miles from Austin, the de-
partment of economic geology at the
University of Texas now has enough
specimens to roughly reconstruct the?
skeleton of the prehistoric animal
from which they came. The tusk just
found is about nine feet long and eight
inches in diameter at the thickes.
Part, andl is a semi-elliptical shape.
The tusk wvas (discovered along a
branch of Littlhe Walnut Creek, about
six inches of it protruding above the
surface. The location of this finding
is a considerable ways upstream fromt
the p~lace where the rest of the re-a
mains were found last fall, and it is
'lprobable that the animal died it he
beet1 of the stream and was washed
away b)y the curet according to
Professor Lonsdale, of the Gleology de -
partment 'of the Universityv of Texas.
The specimens are stored for t1he
p~resent, since thle university h as noe
suiitabl)1e lplace t o exhibit t hem.

Excursions:
Summer Session 4tiidleits who wish to take the first excursion around
Ann Arbor boulevards, residence sections, the University Libraries, and the
Union. on Thursday, ,lane 24, should leave their names in the Sunmer Ses-
sion Office, Room S, University Hall. Only by having such advance informa-
tion. (by Wednesday, June 23, 6 p. in.) can adequate automobile transporta-
tion be assured. Tour starts Thursday. June 24, at 2:30 p. m. on the steps
of the University Library. There is no charge for this excursion, auto-
mobiles being furnish.=d by tie citizens of Ann Arbor.

Science, and the Arts, Mr. Harold Foster has been suspended for one semes-
ter and has been recorded as F in English 15, for dishonesty in the final ex-

for one semester and has been recorded as E in Archaeology 122, for dis-
honesty' in the finail examination in that course.

Saturday anid Sunday; 9 to 12 on Saturday and 11 to 12 on Sunday.
