Cuban Sugar To
Fertilize Links
MIAMI BEACH, July 27 (A.P.)-Mi-
ami Beach soon will boast the "sweet-{
b~st" golf courses in the world with the
use of 100,000 pounds of Cuban raw
sugar for a vast fertilizer experiment.
A surplus in the market allowed the
purchase of sugar at one and one-half
cents a pound, a lower figure than the
Everglades muck soil which the
} course lbuilder had been using as aj
fertilizer.
