GIRLS TO BANQUET AT V
BARBOUR GYM. TONIGHT.
Tonight at Barbour gymnasium will
occur the annual banquet for the women
of the University. Successful as have
been previous banquets this evening's -
p nromsises to eclipse all preceding ones.
"It not only serves to foster college
spirit and friendship among the womein
students," said a prominent senior girl,
"but also drass bark to the campus,
momentarily at least, any of ctose
who have gone forth from the Univer-S
sity as graduates."
President Hutchins cannot be in at-
tendance despite his desire to meet the
present and former students of the Uni-
versity. Many will be able to meet Dr.
J. B. Angell for the first time, as e will
not only be is the receivg line, butt
will also occupy the seat of honor at the
banquet.
The junior girls' play which will be
presented directly after the banquet, in
Sarah Caswell Angell hall, adds muchs
additional interest. It will afford the
undergraduates and aluns their only
chance to see the play.
