MEN'S FURNISHINGS. Liquid Air Lecture in Ann Arbor. The widespread interest in liquid air and its marvellous applications is evi- denced by the fact that in Detroit people are being asked to pay grand opera prices for admission to the lecture to be given there. Alin Arbor people are more for- tunate for they will within a very short time have the privilege of listening to Professor Freer's lecture and witnessing his wonderful experiments with liquid air, in the Unity Club lecture course. 'hey may get a season ticket to the Unity Club course for the price of 'a single admission to the Detroit lecture, while the single admission to Professor Freer's lecture is only twenty-five cents. The liquid air machine is expected daily at the University, and as soon as it is in operation and the necessary preliminary experiments have been made, the lecture will be given. Professor Freer spent the past summer in Munich experimenting with liquid air and its method of manu- facture in he laboratory of Professor Linde, who was the first to manufacture liquid air on a large scale. He is excep- tionally well prepared to speak on the subject and is planning many interesting and some very unusual experiments for his lecture in the Unity Club course.
