PREPARATIONS FORBASKETBALL
The first of the inter-class series of
basket ball games will be played Fri-
day afternoon at 4 o'clock in Barboiir
gym. The game will be between the
girls of the freshman and sophomore
classes, and will undoubtedly be very
enthusiastic, Both first and second
year girls have aroused a great deal
of spirit by successive yell anid acng
meetings. Being the first game of the
season,^will also increase the interest.
Following the example of the fresh-
man and sophomore classes, the jun-

ment to practice songs and yells. The
entertainment is to take the novel
form of a "Dutch treat," and each girl
is requested to bring a nickle's worth
of cracker-jack with her to the gym,
Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
Dancing is to form part of the enter-
tainment.
