In the death of Mrs. Angell every student of the University has lost a friend intimately concerned with his welfare. For over thirty years she has been second only to President Angell himself in the interest and re- gard in which she has held everybody connected with the University. No one has done more to make the life of the students a pleasant life, and es- pecially that of the women students. Both the men and women of the iniversity feel deeply their loss, and extend to President Angell their heart-felt sympathy and commisera- tion., GOSSIP OF THE COLLEGES. Thes tiesgicaltSociety of American Cniversities, is the name ot a new honor society being formed among the American universities.
