NEW MAJESTIC AT OPENING TO GIVE STANDARD DRAMA Mr. C. A. Sauer, owner of the new Majestic theater, announced last night that iii all probability the formal open- ing of the new playhouse will occur Dec. 4, with the production of a stand- ard legitimate drama. Inquiry at the theater, however, elicited information to tir effect that at the present rate of progress the opening will be deferred to the 16th. The theater is to be used exclusively, after the opening night, for the production of first-class vaudeville under the direction of Klaw & Erlanger.
