IThe Republicans met in the law building last evening, with the newly elected president, Mr. Parsons, in the chair. Much time was spent in discussing the new constitution, which was presented for adoption at this meeting. After various amend- ments and additions were made, it was adopted, together with the by- laws. It was decided to hold a grand ratification meeting immedia- tely following the National Repub- lican Convention. Some of the leading Republican lights of the country will be secured as orators for this occasion, as they will stop over at Ann Arbor on their way east from the convention. Committees were appointed to confer with the citizens' committee regarding this celebration. Their Annual Banquet. Michigan Alumni of the South- west will hold their annual banquet Friday, June 3, at the Coates House, Kansas City. Kent, of Detroit, and Senator Cushman K. Davis, of Minn., will attend. Other distinguished guests will be present, including Pres. Angell and other representatives from the faculty.
