THE CAMPUS.
The youngest student ever gradu-
ated from Yale is Charles Chauncey,
aged 1 5years.
H. D. Rankin and G. W. Brown,
9i laws, have been admitted to the
bar at Pittsburgh, Pa.
The Stanford University has al-
ready won a base-ball victory, and
has a color and yell decided on.
F. H. Abbott, law '91 is a mem-
ber of the firm of Moriarity & Ab-
bott, attorneys, Crystal Falls, Mich.
At the fall athletic games of
Princeton, stop-watches are to be
given to firsts and silver medals to
seconds.
Mr. J. W. Shelton, who attended
the University last year, has entered
the senior law class at Iowa State
University.
The Philadelphian Society of
Princeton intend to publish a four-
page monthly devoted to the relig-
ious news of the college.
Miss Eloise Knapp, and Miss
Myra Horton, of Fenton, visited
their brothers, Mark S. Knapp and
Bryson D. Horton, Friday and Sat-
urday.
John Cranston, the efficient cen-
tre rush for the Harvard foot-ball
team, recently wrenched his knee so
severely as to incapacitate him for
further work this season.
Rev. W. H. Brockway, who, du-
ring his lifetime, had made many
gifts, to Albion college, bequeathed

a house and tenacres of land, valued
at $4,000, to the institution.-Ex.
One of'the recent presidents of
Amherst declares that at the present
rate of progress the women of this
country will at the end of this cen-
tury be better educated than the
men.-Ex.
The Ann Arbor High School foot-
ball eleven defeated the Ypsilanti
team 18 to o, last Saturday. The
game ended at the close of the first
half, because of a dispute as to
Baird's slugging. The high school
team is putting up a strong game,
and will prove formidable oppon-
ents to the University teams in the
inter-class games.
Northwestern University has taken+
a new departure in college govern-
ment. Hereafter matters of differ-
ence between the faculty and stu-
dents will be referred to acommittee
of ten students and five members of
the faculty. Three of the ten stu-
dents are chosen by each of the up-
per classes and two from each of the
lower.-Ex.
The enrollment at Boston Univer-
sity School of Theology is the lar-
gest in the history of the school.
There are 151 students. Of these
103 are graduates representing 48
different colleges and universities.
Twenty-six states are represented
and seven foreign countries. Since
'8i the number of students has in-
creased from 68 to the present en-
rollment, 151.
