The entries in the Junior Pharmic
class are 40 in number. There is no
change in the faculty.
In the Dental faculty, Dr. Darling
takes Dr. Martin's place as lecturer
on Oral Pathology and Surgery.
Seats will be assigned in the Dental
Department on Thursday afternoon,
while work will begin on Monday.
Grosh, last year's half back, has
changed departments. He has ap-
plied for admission into the '95 Lit.
class.
The Detroit Tribune, containing
the description of Ann Arbor and
the University, can be obtained at

Last evening there were 408 reg-
istered in the law department. The
total last year was 366. There are
281 juniors, and 247 last year at
this time.
Quite a number of students at-
tended the county fair yesterday to
see the ferale aeronaut make a bal-
loon ascension. The ascension was
a :sucessful one.
Friday will be the "big day" at
the Fair. On that day there will be

a balloon ascension by Miss Apel at
3 o'clock, a drill by the new Co. A.,
A. A. L. I., and the finest races of
the fair.
53 Homeopathic students have
registered. The four year course
has been introduced in this depart-
ment, and this year a number have
applied for admission to the Fresh-
man class.
To-day's Detroit Tribune contains
a description of the University and
illustrations of Newberry hall, the
main building, the library and Pres-
ident Angell. Every new student
should buy one to send home.
We wish to have it clearly under-
stood that no Students but the mem-
bers of the board are authorized to
receive subscriptions for the DAILY.

The place of the notorious Com-
pany A., M. S. T., has been taken
by Company A, Ann Arbor Light
Infantry. The new company con-
tains some of the best young men in
Ann Arbor and includes many Uni-
versity students-James E. Duffy,
Carl Miner, James F. Breakey and
George B. Dygert.
Foot-Ball Practice.
Captain Van Inwagen had about
sixteen men training on the campus
yesterday afternoon. Among them
were E. Smith, Southworth, Sauer,
Powers, who has played on the Allen
Academy (Mass.) team, Hart, Grosh
and Parker. Candidates for the
'Varsity eleven are urged to come
out now so that an eleven can be
selected for practice.
