Much has been heard from companies of students forming at the various col- leges throughout the country, but as far as we have heard, the State Univer- sity is the first from which a company has actually been enlisted in the ser- vice. The Fifth Regiment marched into camp with a solemn quietness that was almost funer- al like. At 10 o'clock Wednesday morning the student company marched over the knolls in close order, as P ne a lot of boys as ever wore the United States uniform. Only Company I, of all the companies, was all youths, with the flush of young health on their cheeks. As Captain George H. English brought his company to rest the boys grouped together and shouted: "Rah, Rah, Mis- souree, M. S. U. 'Varsity, yes siree, whoop, Tiger, Tigec, M. S. U." Next came the company yell: 0 me, 0 my, What's the matter with Company I? We're the stuff; That ain't no bluff.
